For our developing and fast-growing Branch Office in Bangalore (Karnataka, India), we are looking to hire a solution oriented, highly motivated Field Service Engineer.

YOUR KEY RESPONSABILITIES WILL BE

As part of our Indian engineering team, you will be responsible for engineering tasks which will cover the hole placement equipment, pre and post sales support. This position will require to travel to support customers. You must be able to work both as part of a team and as an individual, being responsible for completing your tasks and successfully close the projects. Other responsibilities:

  • Provide preventive, ordinary, extraordinary maintenance.
  • Assist in new equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Stay up to date with new product introductions.
  • Utilize remote diagnostics capabilities to resolve customer concerns.
  • Understand and utilize technical documentation, schematics during technical support missions.
  • Verify that spare parts are stored properly by customers and are available without delay when needed.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer on-site evaluations.
  • Utilize CRM Software to create, manage and close service tickets, missions, and reports.
  • Report in a professional way any discrepancy, unresolved or recurrent problems to Department Management.
  • Manage eventual difficult customer situations in a positive manner, respond promptly to customer needs andsolicit customer feedback to improve customer experience.
  • Emergency support when needed by customers.
  • Act as an ambassador for Delvitech at all times, ensuring and promoting good working relationships either internally or with the customers.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Temporary shift schedule depending on customer needs.
  • Possibility to rotate shift with other Field Service Engineers.

WE BELIEVE YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or similar.
  • Relatable and demonstrable work experience in the same technical role.
  • Previous experience in Hardware maintenance.
  • Familiarity with Engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Electronical, Optical and Software.
  • Knowledge of PTH, SMT, robotics and electronics manufacturing will be considered a plus.
  • Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English. 
  • Availability to travel across the country and worldwide for field commissioning and/or troubleshooting work.
  • Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs.
